The Loneliest Whale, a new show from the Barn Arts Collective

Join Barn Arts and the campers from Summer Story Camp Ocean Week as they create a brand new story for the stage! The Loneliest Whale is a tale based on the true story of the "52 hertz whale" -- a mysterious solo creature that has only ever been heard, not seen. Swim on into the library to dive deep into the world of SHARKS! Sharks are one of the most important animals we have on this planet. Join Sharks4Kids for an hour long adventure into the ocean to explore these magnificent animals. Learning more about their role in the ecosystem will help to demonstrate why we should protect these animals instead of fearing them. Summer Reading Showtime Finale with the Barn Arts Collective and Peter Logue. Join Barn Arts for the red carpet event of the season -- it's the Summer Reading Showtime Finale! Dress in your Hollywood best as we premiere a series of short films created by young readers over the summer. Each short film features a favorite scene from a book read by the young participants, brought to life on the screen with the help of Barn Arts and filmmaker Peter Logue. See you on the red carpet! Captain McFinniginagin is a folktale musical about the high-sea adventures of a farmer-turned-sea-captain and his first mate, a chicken named Shirley. Children's Storytimes and More... Baby Yoga

These are fabulous opportunities to have fun and laugh with the children in your lives.

Toddler Storytime Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. Children's Librarian Susan Plimpton leads songs, simple sign language, and interactive short stories. Ages: best for pre-school.

Baby Storytime Fridays 10:00 a.m. Susan Michalski and Amanda Crafts welcome babies with songs, rhymes, and short stories. Baby Storytime is designed especially for babies under two years, but we are family friendly and we welcome siblings. Either Susan or Amanda will be on board to read, sing, rhyme, giggle and play with your little one. Babies get the chance to socialize with their peers and so do caregivers!
