Summer Story Camp 2017
~ ~ ~

We are full for the summer of 2017

2018 Registration information will be available in March 2018
Please join us for the Children's Programs on Thursday nights in June and July - some of these include performers and authors
from that week's Story Camp!

Now in it's ninth year, the Summer Story Camp was created to meet the academic needs of developing readers and writers, to inspire children to see literacy as a form of entertainment and self-expression, and to prevent skill loss over the summer.

Camp costs are covered by donations from community organizations. Donations of any amount are very much appreciated.

Week 1: June 26-30 Camping
(Camp Max half day option from 12-5pm available for $100)

Week 2: July 10-14  Ocean with Theatre Week
(Full Day Camp - Barn Arts Theatre Workshop, 1-4pm
with Camp Max after-care from 4-5pm available for $25)

Week 3: July 24-28 Dinosaurs
(Camp Beech Cliff half day option from 12-4pm available for $105)

Week 4: August 14-18 Pirates
(Camp Beech Cliff half day option from 12-4pm available for $105)

Full Day Child Care Options: Campers can be dropped off at 8am (with prior notice), and Harbor House and Camp Beech Cliff have after-care or half day options for the weeks indicated above. Campers MUST register for these options directly through Harbor House Community Center for Camp Max and Camp Beech Cliff.

Tennis & Music Camp will also be available for the half-day option from 12-4pm. The cost is $90 for the week, and contact Dan Granholm at

Your registration form will be used to assign your child one week of camp based on your first choice and availability. Space is limited to 15 campers per week. If additional space is available you will be notified if your child will be offered a second week.

To register your camper, complete the Online Registration Form or download and print the Summer Story Camp Registration. Please mail or bring your registration to the library. You may email your completed registration form to For questions, call 244-7065.
