The Young Adult Room

This fun and vibrant section of library offers a full range of good reads and digital media for patrons 3rd -7th grade and a Young Adult collection for patrons 8th grade and up*

  • Fiction and non-fiction books (the newest titles can be found at the beginning of the section)
  • Audio CDs and Playaways (self-playing, pre-loaded digital media players)
  • Graphic Novels & magazines (National Geographic Kids, Seventeen, Owl, Animé Insider, Discovery Girls, Faces)
  • “Free and legal” downloadable music through Freegal. Each patron can download and keep three songs per week.

* More mature themes make these books suitable for teens and adults. If in doubt, please consult a librarian or a parent when making a selection from this section.

Want to help out? Earn community service hours?

Volunteer! We always need shelvers in the library (or Pemetic School), helpers for the Summer Reader Program, or even to start a book club.
