I wish I’d had time to re-read Shabanu & Haveli – bit I didn’t – I was confused at first about who everyone was and found I had to transfer my memory of Shabanu to this more modern story – I did enjoy it – I could hardly put it down – I have to admit I wanted more from Shabanu & found her sudden reappearance (just a feeling that the danger was gone?) unbelievable – I did really enjoy Muntaz & Jameel – I wonder how all three will work, now read in succession by kids?
