I liked the characters and the premise; middle schoolers caught up in a riddle that mirrors their friendship dilemmas. It was a slow read for me though, and seemed to go on and on. The main character has two Moms and has an ex best friend who has two Dads; this could have been fun but here it seemed convenient and too obvious. It’s an OK book but didn’t excite me.
