I listened to this audiobook on cloudLibrary. It’s a coming of age story of Korean American high school seniors in Southern California. The parents have immigrated and worked hard to make a better life for their kids but have no tolerance for mixed race dating. The kids have little tolerance for the parent’s cultural values that they consider racist. They create a clever deception allowing 4 of them to date who they want but … who do they want? Ultimately both parents and kids must face the consequences of the choices they have made. The characters are easy to like and carry the book. I did get impatient with the last few chapters finding several places it could have ended sooner.
