What a delightful book. It will be more fun if you have read Anne of Green Gables, Alice in Wonderland, and The Little Princess. Treasure Island too. It’s about readers who are so attached to their favorite characters that they can actually travel inside their books and interact with them. This phenomenon can only occur in bookstores and libraries. (Plug plug!)The setting is fun on its own . A big old wandering bookstore with plenty of nooks and crannies for curling up with a book and something from the cafe.
An avid reader, grandparents with secrets, a missing Mum and book magic. Yes, it’s a bit predictable but
really fun anyway! The concept of interacting with your favorite characters is irresistible.
