Three cheers for this wonderful book! I had to read it all at once; taking it all in one big gulp. Omar is a totally wacky fantastic believable kid who navigates his grade school world with imagination and pluck. Little does he know that in doing so he is serving as a wonderful ambassador for his family and community who are British Muslims. Just knowing Omar and his family makes me feel better about the world. I wish they were my neighbors! As SLJ ( School Library Journal )might say: a must have for all collections! I would say: this will be a treat for everyone. (#ownvoices)
