The Southwest Harbor Public Library will hold its annual Holiday Book Sale Saturday & Sunday, December 4th and 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. then ongoing during library hours through the holidays. Hundreds of hardcover and paperback books will be for sale in the Holmes Reading Room. All are in new or nearly new condition and perfect for gift giving. Stop by and find wonderful treasures for everyone on your holiday gift list! The Holiday Book Sale will kick-off our Scallop Raffle with ticket sales for a chance to win one gallon of fresh-caught scallops donated by Holly Masterson, our Southwest Harbor fisherman featured in Ali Farrell’s Pretty Rugged: True Stories of Woman of the Sea. Tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5.
