On Tuesday, December 21 at 5:30, the Southwest Harbor Public Library will host an online talk with local author Caroline Ailanthus who will discuss her novel “Ecological Memory”, published in the summer of 2019, about the aftermath of a global pandemic.

Less than a year after publishing her novel, Caroline found herself in the middle of an actual terrible global pandemic. Join her for an online talk as she explores the similarities and differences between fact and fiction and the lessons that can be learned when life imitates art. She will explore the novel simply as a good story, too, of course.
