MDI Historical Society, in partnership with Southwest Harbor Public Library, presents “Ralph Stanley: Citizen Historian, Lifelong Learner” during a special episode of Chebacco Chats on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Jenna Jandreau, host of the Chat, spoke with Bill Horner, the Society’s president, along with Erich Reed, director of Southwest Harbor Public Library, Candy Emlen, the library’s former director, and Charlotte Morrill (Digital Archives curator at the Southwest Harbor Public Library) about Ralph’s contributions to Digital Archives, his oral histories, writing, research, and other ways he explored how to be an active and engaged citizen historian.
